Ghanaian Skeleton athlete, Akwasi Frimpong, has qualified for this year's World Championships to be held in Lake Placid, New York.
The Ghanaian will be competing in the World Championships for the fifth time having been involved in four already in his career.
His qualification also makes the first African athlete in history to compete in five World Championships in any sliding sport.

According to the 38, year, qualification for next month's tournament looked far from achievable after undergoing surgery for an injury during a race seven half months ago.
Frimpong's first participation in the World Championships was back in 2017 when he met the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) qualification requirements.
The World Championships is scheduled for March 6-9 & 15-16, 2025.
