The Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has opened up about the emotional toll of losing power in the recent election.
The Effutu legislator described it as a deeply painful experience.
Mr Afenyo-Markin said this in an interview on JoyNews' The Pulse on February 19.
"It was very painful to lose the recent election, there’s no doubt about it, It’s a painful experience," he said.
"However, once the process has been initiated, we will look into the matter. We must all be patient and wait."
The Majority Leader further emphasised that "we need to continue working for the party, contribute to efforts aimed at rebranding it, and make it more attractive."
He said this is not the time to accuse each other within the party.
"In politics, once you win power and come into government, a lot of things happen. This is not the first time we’ve lost power," he concluded.
