Representatives of social welfare institutions in Al-Quds have praised the significant initiatives launched under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, to alleviate the suffering of the Holy City’s inhabitants during Ramadan.
During the distribution of Iftar Ramadan food aid to 20 social welfare establishments under the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency’s support program, beneficiaries lauded the Agency’s ongoing efforts to assist vulnerable groups in Al-Quds.
Executive Director of the Wadi Al Joz Charity Association, Diaa Al Husseini, described the food aid initiative as a “noble effort” to support Al-Quds residents, highlighting the benevolence of King Mohammed VI toward the city’s population, particularly during Ramadan.
Similarly, Sara Heidaf, coordinator of the Al-Thawr Silwan Women’s Center, expressed gratitude to His Majesty for his continuous backing of Al-Quds residents.
She commended the “pioneering and commendable” humanitarian programs implemented by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency.
President of the Nour Association for the Visually Impaired, Mohammed Essaayad, also thanked King Mohammed VI for his special consideration for vulnerable groups, particularly people with special needs, emphasising that Royal Initiatives play a crucial role in easing their suffering.
This humanitarian operation, benefiting 20 social establishments, including orphanages, foster homes, special care centers, and five neighborhood committees in the Old City, involves the distribution of 22 essential food items to support families in need during Ramadan.
