The Anlo Youth Council (AYC) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCEs) of Anlo State, describing the development as a significant milestone in the region’s history.
In a press release signed by Mr Godsway Hanyabui, Vice President in charge of Operations at the AYC, the Council expressed its unwavering support for the new appointees and emphasised the importance of strong and visionary leadership for the future of Anlo.
As an organisation committed to promoting the interests of young people in the region, the AYC firmly believes that the foundation of a vibrant and prosperous Anlo State lies in effective governance.
The Council views the newly appointed MDCEs as key partners in this vision, highlighting their critical role in shaping the region’s social and economic development.
The AYC pledged to work collaboratively with the MDCEs to establish a social structure that places young people at the centre of development. “Our generation is ready to contribute to the transformation of Anlo, and we believe that this collaboration will lead to a brighter future for all,” the statement read.
The Youth Council also stressed the importance of unity and collective effort in realising the region’s development objectives. With a strong focus on youth empowerment, the AYC reiterated its commitment to supporting initiatives that will foster economic growth, expand access to quality education, and create employment opportunities for the youth of Anlo.
Mr Hanyabui further affirmed the Council’s dedication to influencing policies that empower young people, enhance their skills, and ensure sustainable prosperity for the region as a whole. “We are ready to contribute meaningfully to the progress of Anlo, working together with the MDCEs, community leaders, and other stakeholders,” he stated.
The AYC also expressed its readiness to participate in collaborative efforts aimed at building a thriving Anlo where every young person has access to the tools and opportunities needed to succeed and make meaningful contributions to society.
