Excitement built up at Atomic Hills Basic 1 School and Asofan MA 1 School this week as pupils and teachers warmly welcomed back one of their own Marvin and Clifford, the star chefs of the Indomie challenge of Big Chef Junior Season 4.
The visit was led by the show’s host, Michelle Agyekum, who paid a special visit to the young stars’ schools to celebrate their win and acknowledge the tremendous support from their school community.
At Atomic Hills Basic 1, the students body gathered at the assembly ground, cheering as Marvin was presented with a beautiful hamper containing products from the show’s sponsors.
“I am truly grateful for this and I will do more to make my school proud,” Marvin said.
His teachers shared their pride, describing Marvin as a hardworking, respectful, and focused student who has always had a flair for creativity. They also encouraged the student body to vote for Marvin as the competition continues.
The team now moved on to the next location, Asofan MA 1, where Clifford is a pupil.
At Clifford’s school, a brief ceremony was held to honor him for his efforts as he received the wonderful package from the show’s sponsors and a standing ovation from his peers. The school’s assistant headteacher praised his achievement as an inspiration to other pupils.
Clifford took a moment to share words of gratitude saying, “I am very thankful for this package and to all of you for your support. I want you to know that I have just started and there’s more to come.“
As part of the celebration, Michelle engaged with students in a Q&A session, encouraging them to follow their passions and to keep watching Big Chef Junior on Joy Prime.
The event ended with a fun photo session and exchange of greetings with the host, Michelle Agyekum. Everyone couldn’t stop talking about the winning dish, Indomie coated sausage wrap.
The heat continues on Big Chef Junior season 4. Catch the drama in the kitchen every Sunday at 4pm only on Joy Prime.
