Legal Ink, a reputable full-service law firm with offices in Labone, Accra, and Asokwa, Kumasi, celebrated its 20th anniversary in grand style at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel.

The milestone event commemorated two decades of impact while ushering in a new era through a strategic association with global law firm Clyde & Co, headquartered in the UK under the theme “20 Years of Indelible Prints, One Global Future Together.”

Guests began arriving from 5:30 PM, and following a warm welcome and opening prayer, Legal Ink’s Chairman, Daniyal Abdul-Karim delivered an inspiring address. He reflected on Legal Ink’s remarkable two-decade journey and shared the firm’s renewed vision anchored in growth, innovation, and global collaboration.

Key moments in the evening was the special guest of honour speech by the UK Deputy High Commissioner, Keith McMahon, MBE, who commended the association as reminiscent of the continued collaboration in trade between Ghana and the UK and the keynote address by the Attorney-General of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Dominic Ayine, who praised Legal Ink for its dedication to professional excellence and its significant role in shaping Ghana’s legal landscape.

He emphasized that the new partnership with Clyde & Co has the potential to strengthen Ghana’s position as a hub for international legal services, deepen investor confidence, and create opportunities for capacity-building among local lawyers.

The programme included video testimonials from clients such as Japan Motors and PZ Cussons, alongside reflections from former associates, illustrating the firm’s enduring impact on both institutions and individuals. A ceremonial unveiling of the joint Legal Ink and Clyde & Co logo followed, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the firm’s evolution.

The collaboration is expected to deliver tangible benefits to Legal Ink and its clients: expanded cross-border legal expertise, access to Clyde & Co’s international network, and enriched sectoral capabilities across energy, finance, infrastructure, and dispute resolution.
