Changing Life Foundation, a new non-governmental organisation, was launched on Saturday, September 27, at Restoration Christian Church in American Farm, Ngleshie Amanfro, in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

The foundation focuses on children's care and youth development, aiming to help people identify their goals and take actionable steps to achieve them.

It also provides coaching and support to inspire and encourage others to pursue their dreams.

The NGO's main objectives include mental health support, providing resources and guidance for mental health and emotional management, and empowering young people to live fulfilling and successful lives through goal setting, time management, and self-assurance.

The NGO also provides various interventions, fostering leadership skills and personal accountability among youth.

The launch was attended by members of various churches, opinion leaders, and children.

Speaking at the launch, the Founder of the NGO Elija Dixon Junior, gave a brief overview of the NGO’s activities, which touched on mental health, emotional management, professional and personal accountability, Identity and self-acceptance, goal setting, time management, youth empowerment, self-assurance and leadership.

Elija Dixon said being a motivational speaker and experienced in helping people identify their goals and take actionable steps to achieve them is his core duty.

"My approach is simple: I inspire and encourage others to go for their dreams, providing coaching and support along the way," said Elija Dixon.

He further explained that he aims to help people live fulfilling and successful lives while feeling confident in their abilities and choices.

He emphasised a simple approach to success, focusing on inspiration, coaching, and support.

Elijah Dixon announced that his organisation is in the process of acquiring land for the construction of a community centre at Peace Town next year.

According to him, the centre will have a day care, a children's playground, and other facilities.

The foundation launched a new book titled: The Next Level Defenders.

The Ngleshie Amanfro-based organisation appears to have a distinct mission and objectives tailored to the local community's needs.

On her part, Wanda Jackson, the Co-Founder of the NGO, who is also a childcare management professional, said she teaches children from daycare to high school age.

"I enjoy what I do because I truly believe in that," she noted.

Wanda thanked the leadership and members of the Restoration Christian Church for their support.

She pledged her preparedness to use her childcare expertise to help shape the children in the community.
