Detty Rave, Africa’s defining afrodance music pilgrimage, returns with its boldest evolution yet as the 2025 theme, Raise the Heat, ushers in authentic creativity, deeper intensity and a renewed vibrancy at the festival’s core.
On Saturday, December 27, Untamed Empire becomes a charged playground of light, sound and movement, delivering an immersive stage world, high fidelity sound, the first Raise the Heat Visual Reveal and unpredictable moments designed to keep the night alive from start to finish.
Created by Mr Eazi, Detty Rave continues its ascent as a globally resonant DJ-led force, defined by futuristic production and a genre-fluid mix of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afrohouse, 3Step, Afrotech, Highlife, Dancehall and everything in between.
The 2025 lineup brings global impact and African excellence with SPINALL, Nooriyah, Chichi DJ, Ciza, DJ Aroma and Choplife Soundsystem.
Now in its seventh year, it remains the December homecoming landmark for the global African diaspora, ushering in a new era of freedom, expression and boundary-pushing energy.
This edition also expands the artistic impression of Detty Rave, bringing on Dennis Osadebe Studio for the creative direction and collaboration with Dotun Popoola, whose large-scale installations enhance the festival experience.
“We are not returning. We are evolving,” says Mr Eazi.
“Raise the Heat is a frequency shift and the true heart of December nightlife. Accra will host the most authentic African dance music eruption you have ever felt.”
Tickets are now on sale on www.dettyrave.com or USSD *725*5555#. Secure yours before the surge.
