The Joy FM Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols came to a fitting close on Saturday, December 13, 2025, marking the Christmas season with music, scripture and celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Held at the Labadi Beach Hotel, this year’s edition offered an evening of soul-stirring carols, drama, comedy and carefully selected Bible readings, creating an atmosphere of reflection, thanksgiving and festive joy.
The event brought together worship, storytelling and entertainment in a way that resonated deeply with the audience.
The night featured an impressive lineup of performers, including Joe Mettle, Perez Muzik, Queendalyn, Pastor Ella Somuah, Ofori Amponsah, Lekzy DeComic, and Jeneral Ntatia, all of whom took turns to light up the stage with spirited performances.
The event opened with a captivating presentation by Grace Chorale International, whose rich harmonies and soothing voices set the tone for the evening.
Adding a poetic dimension to the celebration was Poet 13th Disciple, while the traditional Nine Lessons were delivered through successive Bible readings, guiding the audience through the Christmas story from prophecy to fulfilment.
Each reading reinforced the central message of hope, love and redemption.
The festival climaxed with the cutting of a commemorative cake, giving thanks to God for His faithfulness to The Multimedia Group over the past 30 years, celebrating three decades of grace and mercy.

Over the years, the Joy FM Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols has become a cherished fixture on the station’s festive calendar, drawing audiences from all walks of life and reaffirming its place as one of Ghana’s most anticipated Christmas traditions.
