Prudential Bank Limited (PBL) and Nita Travels and Shipping Ventures Limited are set to take valued customers on exclusive business trips to Korea, Turkey, and China in April and May 2026, as part of their ongoing efforts to foster business growth and international partnerships.
The tours follow a successful edition held in 2025, where customers were taken to Turkey, Qatar, and China to attend business fairs, engage with potential investors, and connect with suppliers.
Acting Managing Director of Prudential Bank, Ebow Quayson, expressed the bank's commitment to supporting clients' business expansions and international exposure.
"At Prudential Bank, we are dedicated to creating opportunities for our customers to thrive. These trips will provide a unique platform for them to engage with international partners and explore new business avenues," Quayson said.
Head of Commercial Banking at PBL, Frederick Adomako-Ansah, who acted as the official chaperone in the last edition, highlighted the success of the previous trips.
"Last year, we sent customers to Turkey, China, and Qatar, and they were thrilled with the experience. We are excited to do it again, offering our customers exposure to global markets and networking opportunities," Adomako-Ansah stated.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nita Travels, Joanita Aseidu, echoed the sentiment of the bank, emphasising the partnership's focus on empowering Ghanaian businesses.
"As an experienced tour organiser, we are proud to partner with Prudential Bank once again on this exciting journey. These trips are designed to empower Ghanaian businesses to connect with international counterparts, fostering growth and collaboration. We are looking forward to an unforgettable experience with PBL customers," she said.
The business trips are scheduled as follows:
- Accra-Seoul-Guangzhou-Accra: 21 days, April 16 - May 5, 2026
- Accra-Istanbul-Guangzhou-Accra: 22 days, April 27 - May 17, 2026
- Accra-Doha-Guangzhou-Accra: 17 days, April 24 - May 9, 2026
According to the organisers, the packages include return flights, visas, accommodation, factory visits, participation in international trade fairs—especially the Canton Fair in China and AFEX in Istanbul, Turkey—and Business-to-Business meetings, among other benefits.
The trips are designed to provide Ghanaian entrepreneurs and business owners with firsthand exposure to major global manufacturing hubs and trade centres, enabling them to source products, explore partnership opportunities, and understand international business practices.
China's Canton Fair, one of the world's largest trade exhibitions, attracts hundreds of thousands of buyers and suppliers from across the globe, while Turkey's AFEX offers similar networking opportunities in a key market bridging Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
South Korea, particularly Seoul, has emerged as a major hub for technology, manufacturing, and innovation, offering Ghanaian businesses opportunities to explore partnerships in sectors ranging from electronics to automotive and consumer goods.
