The External Affairs Office of the University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC) has taken steps to strengthen internship coordination and broaden employability opportunities for students.
This follows a strategic meeting with the University’s Internship Coordinator, Ms. Benedicta Nyame.
The engagement, held at the Office of the internship coordinator, brought together the Internship and Employability Committee led by External Affairs Officer Alex Kobina Stonne and Ms. Benedicta Nyame, who oversees internship coordination at the university.
The meeting focused on aligning student-led initiatives with the newly introduced Industrial Attachment Policy and ensuring that internship processes follow approved institutional guidelines.
Ms. Nyame advised the committee to familiarise itself with the policy framework and encouraged the compilation of a comprehensive list of credible organisations capable of offering structure
