The President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, is expected to grace the 2026 edition of the Kwahu Business Forum.
The event, which is scheduled for Friday, April 3, to Sunday, April 4, 2026, is also expected to feature the Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah; the Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Johnson Pandit Asiama; and a host of other senior government and private-sector officials.
This was confirmed by Benjamin Essuman, Special Aide to the Chief of Staff and a key member of the organising team.
Speaking on preparations for the event, Benjamin Essuman noted that the anticipated presence of these distinguished high-ranking officials demonstrates the high regard and strong commitment to the summit.
He disclosed that the 2026 edition, to be held at the newly constructed Kwahu Convention Centre, will feature over 1,000 participants from various fields.
Essuman stated that this expanded version of the program will include companies and representatives from the automobile industry, banking, insurance, health, and various goods and services sectors.
On the sidelines of the conference sessions, there will be trade fairs where various goods and services will be displayed to the public.
Benjamin Essuman is confident that the 2026 edition will be flawless and successful, as all necessary measures have been put in place.
Among the innovative features is the early opening of registration, which runs from Thursday, February 12, to April 3, 2026.
He urged potential participants to register early and indicate the size of their delegations to facilitate smooth coordination and participation.
Essuman also dismissed suggestions that the forum is exclusively for elite businessmen, emphasising that the brainchild behind the program is to provide a platform for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs to network, build relationships with more established companies, and enhance their sustainability.
