The Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Terrance Michael Drew, will undertake an official visit to Ghana from Tuesday, March 3, to Saturday, March 7, 2026.

During his stay, Prime Minister Drew will participate in Ghana’s 69th Independence Day celebrations on Friday, March 6, as part of activities marking the country’s historic milestone.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu.

According to the statement, the Prime Minister and his delegation will begin their official engagements on Wednesday with a meeting at the University of Ghana, where he is scheduled to hold discussions with the Vice Chancellor.

He will later be hosted at the Presidency for bilateral talks and an official luncheon aimed at deepening diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries.

As part of his cultural and historical tour, Dr. Drew will visit the W.E.B. Du Bois Memorial Centre, the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, and the Cape Coast Castle. He is also expected to pay a courtesy call on the Omanhene of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II.

Ghana and Saint Kitts and Nevis have in recent years strengthened bilateral relations through South-South cooperation, focusing on exchange programmes in education, health, trade, investment, and technology. The visit is expected to further consolidate collaboration between the two nations.
