The Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Sports, Mr Osei Bonsu Amoah has appealed to all stakeholders of boxing to exercise restrain as the Ministry tries to resolve the current impasse within the boxing fraternity.
He has therefore scheduled a meeting with all the stakeholders on Wednesday, April 11 at the Conference room of the Ministry.
This was made known by the Public Relations Officer of the National Sports Council, Mr Hamah Hamid Issakah in press statement.
Mr Issakah said the meeting is aimed at arriving at an amicable resolution of the differences facing the fistic sport in the country.
The National Sports Council (NSC), Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), Ghana Amateur Association (GAA), Boxing Managers and Promoters as well as all boxing gyms are expected to be present at the meeting for a fruitful discussion.
