The first edition of the Republic Bank-JoyNews Habitat Fair Mini Clinic has officially come to a close at the Achimota Retail Centre in Accra, drawing massive patronage from prospective homeowners, builders, and home improvement enthusiasts.
The Mini Clinic is a prelude to the main Republic Bank-JoyNews Habitat Fair, which is expected to come off later this year, promising even bigger exhibitions, more exhibitors, and greater opportunities for Ghanaians to own their dream homes.

The three-day fair, which opened on Friday, August 21, and ended on Sunday, August 23, was held under the theme “Dream it. Explore it. Own it.” It was headlined by Republic Bank Ghana and powered by JoyNews.

The Mini Clinic served as a one-stop shop for all things housing, offering visitors the opportunity to explore products, compare prices, and engage directly with leading brands in Ghana’s housing and construction industry.

From building materials and home security to mortgages, interior décor and smart home solutions, patrons were exposed to a wide range of options to help them start, complete, or furnish their dream homes.

This year’s edition brought together some of Ghana’s most trusted brands in the housing value chain, including Virtual Security Africa, Akwaaba Building Materials, Lesh Fortune Ltd, MTN Ghana, Door Masters, Ayuda, Western Villas, CTECHI Ghana Ltd, Saint-Gobain Ghana, Sintex Tanks, Interplast and Clifton Homes, among others. Exhibitors showcased innovative products and services, with many offering special fair discounts, flexible payment plans, and free advisory services to visitors.
Patrons who thronged the Achimota Retail Centre over the three days took advantage of last-minute deals, enjoying huge discounts on every item purchased, from building materials and water storage tanks to doors, tiles, and home finishing products.

Several visitors also received on-the-spot mortgage advisory from Republic Bank, providing guidance on how to own a home through affordable financing options.
In an interview with Myjoyonline, some patrons described the fair as timely and highly beneficial, especially for young families and first-time builders looking for affordable and credible housing solutions under one roof.

The Achimota edition has once again reinforced the Habitat Fair’s reputation as Ghana’s biggest and most trusted platform for home ownership.
