Hiplife is heading towards its second decade in Ghana and the number it has employed is countless.
The ‘movement’ which was started by Reggie Rockstone, the ‘Grand Papa’ and other artists like Nana King, Mensah, CY Lover has grown so big that, it basically rule our lives now.
Hiplife has had a huge influence and impact on our lives either in a positive or negative way. It has become a money making venture for many and has had a dramatic effect on life style, dressing and language since its inception more than 10 years ago.
Has Hiplife affected you positively or negatively?
Is it teaching society in a good way (influence)?
What are your likes and dislikes about Hiplife music?
Comparing it to other forms of music like; Highlife, Gospel, Reggae, is it a better alternative form of music?
