Counsel for Ibrahim Sima, CEO of Exopa Modeling agency has expressed worry over what he says are undue delays by the Attorney General’s department in processing his client for court.Kwame Akufo says the Attorney General must put its house together to ensure smooth justice delivery.Ibrahim Sima has been remanded for possessing substances suspected to be cocaine but the much anticipated trial which was called on Monday had to be adjourned to Tuesday.Joy News reporter Sammy Darko reports the Fast Track High Court was besieged by models adorned with beautiful attires and hairstyles, apparently to show solidarity to their icon.In casual attire himself the Exopa boss walked into the court room in the company of an unnamed accomplice hoping proceedings will begin in earnest, but failure by the AG’s department to put together a docket, meant the case had to be adjourned.Lawyer for the accused Kwame Akuffo admitted his client had not complained about the conditions in the cells but stressed the AG must put its house together to present its case.“He has not complained about the conditions under which he is being kept, but I was only worried that 48 hours after he was arrested he still hasn’t come before the court of law.“Fortunately and hopefully they will be able to put their house in order for us to come tomorrow,” he said.Story by Nathan Gadugah/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
