A parliamentary aspirant of the New Patriotic Party at Asene –Manso- Akroso Constituency in the Eastern Region, Mr. George Kwame Aboagye is hopeful Ghana will soon overcome the current crisis bedevilling the country.
In spite of the power crisis, in addition to some serious economic challenges, he is optimistic everything will come to an end under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s presidency.
“Even though Ghanaians taught a youthful leadership was the best for the country, the contrary has happened, leading Ghana into state of hopelessness, however all is not lost,” George Aboagye asserted
Mr Aboagye, popularly known as Oluwa, said it is strange that the John Dramani Mahama-led administration would perform abysmally in the midst of several opportunities to turn Ghana’s fortunes around.
“It’s good to have experienced youth leaders but not just a youthful leader. What is best for Ghana is an old experienced leader who will garner support from the youth to move this country forward.
“I do not want to sound partisan, to be honest records have shown that the NPP is the best political party which has what it takes to bring happiness into the lives of the people of Ghana,” George reiterated
He added that politics must gear towards bringing hope and positive change into the lives of people and hardship.
“The success of every nation depends on its human resource development which will intend develop the natural resources for utmost development hence the major areas on my heart is to invest in education, agriculture and health if I am given the mandate to represent the people of Asene-Maaso-Akroso Constituency in the Eastern Region,” Mr. Aboagye pledged
Pointing to a number of social intervention projects in the constituency he has undertaken on his own, the parliamentary aspirant said, “assisting the needy is my priority and if government is guided by this principle Ghana will be more than a better place to be.”
