Former President Jerry Rawlings has expressed shock at the death of over 18 people including school children on the Volta Lake on their way from Wusuta after attending a colleague’s funeral.This tragedy the former president indicated, should be a wake-up call on the government to act quickly to improve lake transport.Former President Rawlings also expressed his deepest of condolences to the bereaved families.
