A freelance journalist with the station, Bernard Kwarpong recounting the incident to Joy News, said the family of the deceased had been notified.
He explained that the Emmanuel apparently went into the studio to salvage the situation but unfortunately got trapped.
Kwarpong said the deceased was later pulled out but could not tell if he was already dead or he died at the Ridge Hospital where he was rushed to.
