The deputy secretary general of the Ghana Football Association, Saanie Daara, has denied reports that business concerning the F.A elections have been put on hold following an injunction by the Accra Fast Track Court.
According to Saanie, business has gone on normally as interested applicants have picked up their nominations form.
Speaking to Joy Sports, the former BBC global broadcaster indicated no formal letter had been received by the Football Association and as such the electoral process continued.
“We have not received any notice on an injunction. It is business as usual and we are taking in nominations,” Saanie said
“It’s been going quite briskly. People interested in the various positions are picking up their forms.”
“Business is going on as usual. We cannot just act on media report .We need to have evidence of it. As we speak now, we have no evidence.”
Thd FA elections have been slated for August 17th in Tamale.
