Accra has been named as the second worst place to live in the entire world by the renowned Lonely Planet guide.
Crime-hit Detroit, Michigan, topped the poll ahead of Accra, Ghana.
Seoul, in South Korea, and Los Angeles were third and fourth in the top five before Wolverhampton', reports the Daily Mail.
The reason given for Wolverhampton's inclusion on the list is a reader anecdote where the city is compared to Ground Zero in New York after the September 11 attacks.
