Some youth of the National Democratic Congress in the Tamale Central Constituency are advocating for incumbent MP, Inusah Fuseini, to contest the November primaries unopposed.
The youth are calling on three other contestants who have pick forms to contest Mr Fuseini the Tamale Central parliamentary primaries to rescind their decision.
The group catalogued infrastructure development in the education sector, roads, loans for women groups as some of the achievements of Mr Fuseini.
The youth group, numbering about 36 said because of the massive development Alhaji Inusah Fuseini has brought to the constituency it is fair that he be allowed to continue for another term.
Addressing a press conference in Tamale spokesperson for the youth Shaibu Abdul Rahman said they acknowledge that Mr Fuseini has not been to solve all the problems facing the constituency but his current achievements are a demonstration of his commitment to solving most of the needs of the are.
He said the will not abandon him now that he is a substantive Minister Of State in charge of Roads and Highways and has the ability to lobby for more development for the area.
