An 84-year-old Russian movie star has married one of his former students who happens to be just 60 years younger than him.
Ivan Klasko, who is a household name in his native country, has tied the knot with 24-year-old Natalia Shevel, and the couple have announced that they plan to start a family together.
Their matrimony has not come without a fair amount of speculation, but they told the Russian media that it was a 'match made in heaven'.
According to the MailOnline Ivan, who has six children, met his new wife while teaching fine art at the St Petersburg Institute of Liberal Education.
As a result of her words, I started to feel like a man in a way that I thought had long since vanished. But it was like being rebooted, and something which was missing returned. Klasko told Russian media
He said that before the marriage their relationship had remained platonic, but a mutual attraction and desire to have children meant that could soon change.
Naturally she has some worries about the future, but for me this is an exciting new time in my life. He added
