The local Black Stars has been pruned to 25 as Ghana prepares for the qualifying for the African Nations Championship - CHAN.
Head coach of the side, Herbert Addo today announced his 25-man team that would travel up North to Tamale where preparations would continue for the game against Burkina Faso on the weekend of March 12-14.
Tamale has been selected as the final camp base by team officials to aid the team acclimatize ahead of Thursday's trip to Ouagadougou.
The Black Stars are seeking another appearance at the CHAN after grabbing silver in the first edition of the competition designed by CAF for only home-based players of its member countries.
The winner over the two-leg tie against Burkina Faso qualifies for the competition which will come up in 2011.
Grouped in Zone West B where three qualifying places are assured, Ghana and five other sides - Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Niger, Burkina Faso and Togo would battle it for places.
