The Judicial Service Staff Association has announced a roadmap for an industrial action set to begin on Monday November 2, 2015.

The judicial workers are protesting the unpaid allowances which have been pending for months.

A statement signed by the Deputy General Secretary of the Association Charles Osei Bonsu detailed the outstanding allowances  as "leave, fuel, and other allowances."

The industrial action which will be in phases will culminate into a nationwide withdrawal of service on Monday November 9, 2015.

The statement said the workers have had several meetings with management, government and other key stakeholders but nothing has come out of it.

As a result, the workers say, "with effect from Monday 2nd November to Wednesday November 4, 2015 all members are to wear red arm bands at work nationwide.

"If by the close of work on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 the Association does not receive receive favorable response from government effective Thursday November 5 to Friday November 6 2015 all members are directed to report and start work at 12:00 pm (partial withdrawal of service.)

"On Monday November 9, 2015 all members shall embark on an indefinite strike  nationwide until all outstanding allowances are paid.

"The security personnel shall however report to work to protect life and property,"  the statement said.
