Joy FM has presented an extra cash to a 39-year-old widow, whose plight caught the attention of a Joy FM reporter.Matilda Lamptey, who is a mother of six, has been struggling to put her children through school after the death of his husband some two years ago.A crusade to ameliorate the plight of the widow yielded dividend as listeners of Joy FM and organisations contributed an amount of GH¢4,500 which was presented to her.On Tuesday the Human Resources manager at Joy FM, Tina Nahyi, made an extra donation of GH¢1,000 being the presentation on behalf of the station, bringing the total amount to GH¢5,500.She advised Ms Lamptey to put the money to good use and to take good care of her children.The widow was content and excited with the donation and traded a broad lavish smile as she received the cash donation.She promised to save half of the amount and invest the rest.Source: Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
