Police have arrested the hit and run driver who killed a woman and her two granddaughters in Teshie over the weekend.
Patrick Laryea who was driving a 207 Benz Bus sped off shortly after he knocked down 75-year-old Adwoa Odae together with Jessica 10, and Jacqueline 8.
All of them died on the spot. The deceased were returning home from another funeral when they met their untimely death.
The incident happened in front of the Teshie Southern Command of the Ghana Armed Forces, Saturday evening.
The suspect was arrested two days after the incident and is in police custody.
Joy News' Emefa Atiamoah-Eli reported that the accident has left the Owusu Sekyere family in complete distraught.
Sekyere, father of the two girls shed uncontrollable tears for his mother and his children.
The police say they will arraign him before court and prosecute him.
