Residents of Kumasi who want a one-time shopping experience will now have the opportunity to do so as Grand Sales 2015 is opened at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
The event which was once held five years ago will provide shoppers with a unique Christmas shopping opportunity.
Ashphile International Ghana is partnering the Multimedia Group to bring both buyers and sellers closer than never before in what is believed to be the biggest shopping event in the festive season.
Patrons will be thrilled at the one week event as they receive extra services such as free legal services, medical screening, and marriage counseling.
General Manager of Multimedia Kumasi, Jimmy Aglah, says the event hopes to relieve patrons of discomfort especially heavy vehicular and human traffic associated with shopping during Christmas period.
“The idea is to make Christmas shopping hustle free for all shoppers. Human and vehicular traffic is usually heavy in this season and people always struggle to get to the Central Business District to shop. But this venue has been strategically chosen to eliminate traffic issues and also it is Christmas so shoppers should expect huge discounts on prices. I encourage all shoppers to take advantage”. Mr. Aglah said.
A representative of Asphile International Ghana, Daniel Donkor, tells Luv News the Grand Sales is being revived to bring excitement to residents of Kumasi.
“It’s obvious Grand Sales has been inactive for years now but we are happy to bring back the good old Grand Sales. It’s been revamped and made more exciting for shoppers and entertainment seekers. People should not only come here to shop but also take advantage of free legal services, medical screening, and marriage counseling among other free services”. Mr. Donkor said.
Regional chairman for the Association of Ghana Industries, Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions, Robert Kwakye Nketia, lauded the initiative of bringing together businesses and institutions for easy access.
“If you have one place where you can get everything you want at discounted prices, mostly made in Ghana goods, then it’s the best for all of us. I would encourage the organizers to organize such events frequently”. Elated Mr Kwakye Nketia told Luv News.
