The Obuasi Municipal Education Directorate is warring against the misuse of instructional hours to ensure effective teaching and learning in all basic schools in the municipality.
Speaking at the 7th graduation ceremony of Steadfast Academy at Obuasi, Mr Jonny Owusu-Boadi, the Municipal Director of Education, said "to sustain the enviable performance of schools in the BECE, my administration has waged a war on the misuse of pupils and students instructional hours".
Consequently, teachers have been asked to transact business at the Municipal Education Office only after classes whilst the use of mobile phones during teaching period has been banned.
