JoyNews has intercepted the Disciplinary Committee Report of ADB which reveals that none of the staff dismissed early last month was found guilty of the allegations of misconduct leveled against them.
Ten workers, a branch manager and relationship managers of the struggling state-owned bank, on November 24 filed a suit at the industrial and labour division of the High Court challenging their dismissal.
Their letters of dismissal and a statement by the bank had said the Board took the decision after a review of the recommendations of the Disciplinary Committee.
But Joy News can report that nowhere in the Report is any of the dismissed staff pronounced guilty or recommended for dismissal.
In its recommendations, the committee states in favor of each of the twelve staff investigated they were not found to have breached the Bank's policy i.e. HR/PP/B02 and HR/PP/H04 (1) (j).
The Report signed by Bernard Appiah Gyebi (Chairman), Robert Karikari Darko, Amelia Croffie, Stephen Elliot, Emmanuel Markwei, all members and Akwelley Bulley Secretary seems to confirm part of the claim by the dismissed staff in their suit that their dismissal "was a grand design of witch-hunt and victimization" targeted at leaders and active members of the local union for their lawful roles in protests against recent happenings inimical to the welfare of staff.
When contacted, lawyer for the dismissed staff Samson Lardy Anyenini confirmed sighting the Report but declined comment except to say he will do his case in court and that he is certain about his case with or without the Report.
