A four storey uncompleted building situated on the spintex road has collapsed trapping a number of people.
Eyewitnesses say construction workers were in the building when it collapsed.
It is not clear how many people were in the building at the time of the incident but so far only one person is known to have survived.
Police and rescue workers have arrived on the scene of the accident, Joy News has learnt.
