Afia Fugar is a living testimony. She has successfully undergone a valve surgery and she can now see.
She was partially blind for some years but she could not afford the corrective surgery at the Pretoria Eye Institute in South Africa. Funds were raised for her surgery in May last year on Drive Time on Joy 99.7 FM. Corporate organizations and individuals donated to Afia.
Afia was on Drive Time with Lexis Bill to say thank you to everyone who helped her to go through the surgery.
She could not hide her joy as she pointed out the colours of things she could now see.
