An Australian man was taken to hospital with leg injuries after he drunkenly climbed a fence at a zoo and tried to ride a crocodile. After being chucked out of a pub for being drunk in Broome, northwestern Australia, the man scaled over a barbed wire fence at a Crocodile Park while carrying a flashlight. He then decided to mount the back of a 16-foot long crocodile named Fatso, but was spun around and bit on his right leg, reports the Metro.Fatso then surprisingly released the man, who rushed back over the fence before being taken to hospital with some 'very nasty lacerations' on his leg, according to Sergeant Roger Haynes of the Broome police.Haynes added: "Saltwater crocodiles...once they get hold of you, are not renowned for letting you go. He's lucky to have escaped with his life."The man, a tourist from eastern Australia, told authorities that he had wanted to give Fatso a pat.Source: orange news
