The fifth edition of Big Brother started Sunday with Sammi B holding the flag of Ghana in the Big Brother Africa All Stars House. Sammi B known in real life as Samuel Kwame Bampoe is making a second return to the Big Brother House as Ghana's representative after his first attempt in the first Big Brother Africa in 2003. He is the oldest in the house aged 35 followed by Code 32, from Malawi. Sammi B's age has already become an issue and he is up for eviction after Big Brother called for nominations for evictions. Ghana's representative in last Big Brother show, the Evolution, Ras Wayo was evicted from the Big Brother House just after a week's stay. To usher in this year's show, Multichoice Ghana (DSTV) held a special press viewing for the 91-day reality show at the African Regent Hotel in Accra. The event saw a number of media houses and personnel including Kwaku-T, another Big Brother House ex-participant. In an interview with Myjoyonline.com after the 14 housemates were announced, Kwaku-T said he is not disappointed that he is not the one representing Ghana again and that the show has brought back good memories. Asked of Sammi B's chances, he said he thinks he could be the last man standing. "Sammi B is original, he does not form alliances and he is just the entertaining guy that he is. He could well bring it home."
