One hundred and twenty students students at the weekend graduated from Cake Tekniks International, a privately-owned institute of modern cake designing and sugarcraft, during its 31st graduation at the Accra International Conference Centre. The graduands, who included two male students, were awarded with diploma certificates in cake, floral and balloon decoration. Speaking at the ceremony, chairperson Mrs Dela Amu, urged the graduands not to add up to the list of the many unemployed graduates waiting for the government to provide them jobs. Mrs Dela Amu, with 25 years in the culinary industry, encouraged them to be confident in themselves, “get unto the job market and make a difference.” The graduands exhibited some cakes they had designed in various tastes and shapes, including a bowl of fufu with soup and fish and a football field with the Black Stars playing. The top ten most brilliant students were awarded with prizes from the management of the institute. By: Dorcas Efe Mensah/myjoyonline.com/Ghana
