He explaiins the three South African ex-police officers have been training 16 of the party’s security detail, stressing they are not in the country to disrupt security.
He spoke on news analysis programme PM Express Tuesday evening with host, Malik Abass Daabu.
The party has since Monday been fending off accusations it is scheming to cause mayhem in the upcoming November polls by flying in the ex-police officers from South Africa. Some critics have even described the trio as mercenaries.

According to a BNI report on the suspects, “The trio, all ex-police officers were engaged in training fifteen young men in various military drills, including unarmed combat, weapon handling, VIP protection techniques and rapid response maneuvers”.
