The Advertising Association of Ghana has paid a visit to the family of the late former National Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey.

The visit was to mourn with the family of the late advertising guru who was one of the founders of the Advertising Association of Ghana.

Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey died on Sunday, March 20, in the United Kingdom where he was receiving treatment for an unknown ailment.

Before entering into politics, he worked at Lowe Lintas, rising through the ranks and becoming president of the AAG.

The AAG delegation, led by its President, Joel Nettey described the death of Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey as a 'monumental loss'.

He said the late Jake was recognized around the world for the pioneering role he played in several advertising campaigns notable amongst them, behavior change interventions. 

Mr Nettey urged the family to find solace in God adding that they will support them for a befitting burial for their late former president.

He signed the Book of Condolence opened in memory of the late Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey at his Cantonments residence in Accra.
