Lawyer for two of the ten men convicted for murder in Atronie in the Brong Ahafo Region is appealing to relatives of his clients to desist from reading politics into the outcome of the case.
Parents of those convicted, the Queen Mother and the town’s folk have appealed to President Mills to intervene to secure the freedom of the men.
They claim the men are innocent with some threatening to vote against the NDC if nothing is done.
But Nana Obire Boahene says it is wrong for anybody to read politics into the case.
Lawyer Obire Boahene is, however, confident he will get the court to overturn the decision on appeal.
