The Quarter final stages of the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Championship will come off tomorrow at the Accra Polytechnic Campus.
Eight teams have been seeded into two groups (A & B) comprising of four teams in each group
In Group A, two-time winners Accra Polytechnic will take on debutants University of Development Studies-Tamale, the reigning Ghana Universities Sports Association (GUSA) Basketball Champions, University of Ghana (UG) and Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
In Group B, last year’s finalists Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology will face off University of Energy and Natural Resources for the first time since their last meeting in the GUSA Games, as well as Tarkoradi Polytechnic and Marshalls University.
Games will be played in a round robin format to decide which teams progress to the semifinals of the competition. The top two teams in each group qualify for the semis.
