Ashantigold head coach Bashir Hayford is Is unperturbed by calls clamoring for his sack.
Pressure is mounting on the reigning coach of the season to resign from his post following the team’s abysmal performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
The defending Premier League champions have been very poor in the league managing just a single win to leave them 12th with seven points after seven matches.
Some supporters of the club have expressed displeasure with their current poor form and wants coach Hayford to leave the club.
But the former Asante Kotoko coach says he will only quit if the hierarchy of the club decides so.
“I’m not bothered with all that is going on, if they ask me to stop coaching the team today, I will give way and will never go hungry,” he told Nhyira fm in Kumasi
“So for those going round agitating that I should be fired- if that is what the board wants- why not I will leave but as I remain coach of the team trust I won’t pay attention to them."
Hayford will be leading his charges to face Asokwa United in the MTN FA Cup.
