The New Patriotic Party, (NPP) is more interested in grabbing property than the development of the country, the Vice President, Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur has criticised.
The Vice President's attack is based on the party's "property-owning" political ideology. He said this is in sharp contrast with the vision of the governing NDC.
“Our vision is to create a compassionate nation based on meritocracy as compared to our opponents who are self-seeking because their own motto tells you what they are about…property-owning democracy…property for me not to expand opportunity for all,” the Veep hit out.
The Vice President made this statement while addressing students at the launch of a pro-NDC group, 'Young professionals for John Mahama and Amissah Arthur' at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) campus in Accra, Wednesday.
Mr Amissah-Arthur said the NPP’s inability to handle its internal issues is a clear indication that it cannot manage the country.
He challenged young professionals to focus their energy on finding solutions to Ghana’s problems instead of seeking to be employed after their education.
He urged young professionals to emulate founders of global giants such as Microsoft, Apple and Facebook
He charged them to think outside the box to develop solutions to society’s problems and should not complete their education seeking to be employed together.
