IEA prevented me from contributing at the lecture – Asiedu Nketia

Mr. Asiedu Nketia
General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) accused the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) of bias, claiming he was prevented from contributing to discussions at a Corruption Conference earlier in the week.
Any status update: The NDC still maintains that some civil society organisations are New Patriotic Party (NPP)-manufactured groups. It is a claim the NPP, in March 2016, has dismissed as dishonest.
Union wants MD, Board of ADB removed over allegations of rot

Photo:The ADB Management addressed the media after the workers agitated
The Union of Industry, Commerce and Finance Workers (UNICOF), says government must compel the Managing Director of the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) to proceed on leave while investigations into allegations of corruption at the bank was being undertaken.
Any status update: The MD of the bank Mr. Stephen Kpordzih resigned in January 2016 amid reports that the Board was unwilling to extend his contract which was set to expire on 31 January 2016.

But before he left, the bank sacked 14 management staff and dismissed others for "operational indiscipline".
NPP calls Steering C’ttee meeting; party Chair, General Secretary missing
First National Vice-Chairman of the New Patriotic Party Freddie Blay called a Steering Committee meeting without recourse to the party’s Chairman, Paul Afoko and General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong.

Any status update: That meeting signified the beginning of the end for Chairman, Paul Afoko and General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong. After more than a year of party in-fighting, the leadership of the party was wrestled from the hands of Mr. Afoko and Mr. Agyapong.
The two NPP leaders were suspended indefinitely by December 2015. While Paul Afoko fights his suspension in court, Kwabena Agyapong has kept a low profile.
