The Institute of Public Relations (IPR) on Saturday organized a health walk for its members ahead of its forthcoming IPR Week celebrations slated 4th to 10th October, under the theme: “Managing Ghana’s Reputation in the Oil and Gas Industry”.
The walk started at the GBC Club House in Accra through the King Tackie Tawiah I Overpass, Danquah Circle and Burma Camp.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Major Albert Don-Chebe (Retired) Vice President of IPR, said the walk was also to draw the attention of the public to activities of the institute.
He called on Ghanaians to value the good reputation that the country had carved for itself and not to do anything to ruin it.
Other activities for the celebration include a dinner dance, public lectures, seminars, Annual General Meeting, election of new executives and a thanksgiving service.
