Dipo Senya of Nigeria won this year’s UT Bank/Ghana-Togo-Benin-Nigeria Business Summit International Golf Tournament played at the CRIG Recreational Centre at New Tafo in the Eastern Region.
He scored a gross of 40, 37.5 net and with a handicap of 5 to win the annual event while Kwame Allen of the Tafo Golf Club resident in the USA won the Bubby trophy with a net score of 60.
The President of the Tafo Golf Club and Chief Executive Officer of UT Bank, Mr Kofi Amoabeng with the support of Mr Otumba Mikel Ajayi, the organizer of the Nigerian team presented the tournament trophy to Senya for his effort at being the champion of the event.
In all 18 players, four women and 14 men participated in the one day nine-hole tournament organized to climax the Second Ghana-Togo-Benin-Nigeria Business Summit which was organized in Accra.
The organizers of the tournament said the competition was reduced to a nine hole event because of bad weather conditions.
