The management of Kasapa Telecom has presented items worth eight million cedis to the Children's Ward of Brong-Ahafo Regional Hospital in Sunyani.
They were 50 pieces of bed sheets and Kasapa Amigo homework mobile phone.
Mr Robert N. Palitz, Managing Director of Kasapa, said the gesture was part of their social responsibilities to enhance telecommunication in the country.
He said the company was determined to ensure that most Ghanaians had access to affordable and portable mobile phones for effective and efficient communication system.
Dr Daniel Asare, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, expressed appreciation to the company for the gesture and gave the assurance that the items would be well utilised.
In another development, the management presented similar items to the Children's Ward of Holy Family Hospital at Berekum.
Reverend Father Ahenkan Fosu, Administrator of the hospital, said telecommunication within the hospital was difficult and expressed appreciation for the items.
He urged staff of the hospital to access Kasapa for easy communication with colleagues and departments at the hospital.
