Hearts leading scorer, Cosmos Dauda, is disappointed with his side’s humiliating defeat at the hands of WAFA in their matchday 23 Ghana Premier league game.
The Phobians were inferior in all aspects of the game as the academy coasted past them in an exhibition of total football.
Dauda, who was returning from injury, came off the bench with the damage already done and was powerless to overturn the score.
“It is a disappointing result and it very embarrassing as well but what we can do is to take advantage of our next home game and make sure that we claim back our position,” he told Asempa Sports.
“I don’t see this defeat affecting our chances of winning the league. I expect everybody to believe that. I know that it is just amatch and I know that the fans are really disappointed but the message I have for them is that the league is still ongoing and we have a huge chance of winning the league.
“The league is open to everybody but I will apologize we couldn’t continue our winning run but I believe that we are still on course and I believe that things are going to turn around”. Cosmos added.
Dauda returned after getting injured against Hasacas in Essipong few weeks ago.
