Hitz FM, the country’s premier music and entertainment radio station has held a massive jam at the Concord Executive Hotel at Agona-Nyakrom in the Central Region Saturday, January 1, to usher in the New Year.
The fun-packed party was organized by the station in collaboration with the Concord Executive Hotel to get closer to its cherished listeners and patrons and also give the revelers an experience of a life-time.
Revelers were treated to live band music by the Concord band, open air jam sessions and performances from several musical artistes.
The artistes included Akatayie of Odo Esisimi fame, Danso Abiam of Ghanaian Lady fame, Joe Morr, Vibes and a host of others.
These artistes took turns to treat the hundreds of patrons to good unforgettable performances and music.
The Concord Band on the other hand did not disappoint as they proved their excellence at singing renditions of popular hi-life and hiplife tunes.
Some of the presenters of the station, including Kwame Bee, DJ Laposta, Lexis Bill and DJ Haglah, were there to interact with their numerous fans.
Patrons of the new year jam expressed their delight at the station finding time to touch base with them and also giving them a unique means to celebrate the New Year in such fun-filled fashion.
The jam was an all night affair with revelers partying into the wee hours of Sunday (January 2) morning.
