Players in the movie industry are upbeat about its prospects. The venture which was not so profitable has since become a lot more attractive with more investments going into the industry as a whole.Movie Producer, Socrates Sarfo told Joy FM’s business analysis programme, Business Trends the industry is clearly enjoying a boom.Chronicling how far the industry has come, Mr Sarfo said he started by taking soft loans from her sister before he could produce but now most of the funds for production are dolled out of his own pocket. He added artistes are now being paid large sums upfront, rather than making them wait for the movie to be marketed before they will be paid their charges. He says the business though remains risky can be quite profitable.Source: Joy Business/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
