MTN Ghana Chief Executive Officer, Brett Goschen has extended warm wishes to all Ghanaians with a promise of an exciting year of innovative products and services, as well as enhanced service delivery to subscribers.
Brett says in a New Year message, “As we celebrate the successes achieved in the past year, we look forward to this new year with even greater excitement”.
Mr Goschen said, “we take this opportunity to particularly express our gratitude to all our subscribers and stakeholders whose loyalty and support has made us the number one telecommunications company of Ghana.
“Last year was an exciting year for MTN during which several innovative products and services were launched. MTN also won 7 major awards some of which are the CIMG Marketing Oriented Company of the Year, Best Company in Corporate Social Responsibility and the Telecoms and ICT Company of the year.”
He said MTN ended the year with the introduction of other unbeatable value offerings including The Real Value call plans; MTN Talk-a-lot, MTN So Cool, MTN So Easy which enables subscribers to enjoy the lowest call rate of 7.5 pesewas per minute and the enhanced MTN Zone which allows customers to make calls with as little as 1.5 pesewas. MTN’s community development initiatives in health and education also touched lives positively in several communities across the country.
Brett Goschen continued, “We at MTN will continue to deliver outstanding customer care initiatives for the benefit of our subscribers. In this regard, we are beginning the year with the opening of 7 new customer care centers in Accra and Takoradi”.
The CEO also took the opportunity to remind existing subscribers to register their SIM cards as directed by the National Communications Authority before the July 2011 deadline.
Mr Goschen concluded, “We wish all Ghanaians a very happy and prosperous new year and we hope that the year 2011 brings peace and good tidings to all, particularly our valued customers and valued stakeholders.
